Q: Why should I use WeDriveU?

A: WeDriveU makes the time you spend in your car more productive and enjoyable. We take the worry away from getting around by providing fully insured, trained and certified chauffeurs who are employees of our company.

Q: Does WeDriveU offer drivers and vehicles?

A: Our company does not have vehicles. We focus exclusively on staffing professional drivers for your vehicle. We can also assist with vehicle sourcing from our strategic partners.

Q: How does WeDriveU work?

A: Our chauffeur meets you at your home, office or event, and drives for you in your vehicle of choice. For clients using our chauffeurs with Avis vehicles, our chauffeur can pickup and return your Avis vehicle or meet you at your desired location if you are adding a chauffeur mid-reservation.

Q: What does the chauffeur do with my car while I’m at my meeting or appointment?

A: The chauffeur will standby with your car and will be available as needed. Chauffeurs can also serve as your personal mobile assistant, running errands or handling vehicle maintenance for you during your engagements.

Q: Do you have a minimum?

A: Yes, reservations require a minimum of 3 consecutive hours of service.

Q: When does the time start?

A: The time starts when the chauffeur arrives at your pick up point. Service involving the pick-up and drop-off of your Avis car will add approximately 30 minutes to the beginning and end of the reservation.

Q: Is there a charge or commitment needed to setup a WeDriveU account?

A: No, you are welcome to setup your free client account at any time by calling (800) 773-7483 or clicking here to activate your new account online. The advantage of setting up your account now is that it will be fully activated and ready anytime you want to make your first reservation.

Q: Do you offer accounts for corporations?

A: Yes, WeDriveU serves corporate clients in addition to individual clients, providing dedicated chauffeurs and security drivers for executives, plus drivers for corporate shuttles and events. We also work for corporate travel departments in providing Avis Chauffeur Drive by WeDriveU. To inquire about a corporate account, please contact WeDriveU corporate sales.

Q: Do I pay my chauffeur when the ride concludes?

A: No, our office will either charge the credit card you authorized at the time you made your reservation or will send you an invoice.

Q: Can I get the same driver each time I use WeDriveU?

A: For occasional reservations, we will strive to provide the same driver (based on availability). Clients with part-time and full-time chauffeurs will be matched with a regular chauffeur that is suited to their requirements and preferences.

Q: What does the chauffeur wear?

A: Our standard chauffeur attire is a professional black suit and tie. The client can request the chauffeur to dress in business casual attire if desired. When serving event clients, our chauffeurs often wear uniforms with event logos.

A: There are many ways to use professional chauffeurs for your car.

Q: What are the benefits of outsourcing chauffeurs through WeDriveU?

A: Outsourcing a part-time or full-time chauffeur through WeDriveU offers you greater cost savings because you only pay for the chauffeur when you need the chauffeur. You also leave the management and employment details to us. WeDriveU provides ongoing driver certification and is responsible for government regulations and reporting.

Q: Why should I use WeDriveU to place a chauffeur with my company?

A: WeDriveU handles all recruitment details so the client does not have to worry about placing job listings, interviewing chauffeurs and doing background and substance abuse checks. WeDriveU's outsourcing services allow clients to try a chauffeur before hiring one.

Q: How do I redeem a gift certificate?

A: We make it easy to redeem WeDriveU gift certificates. Just setup your free WeDriveU client account online or by phone at (800) 773-7483 to register your vehicle, insurance and contact information. When you're ready to make your reservation and apply your certificate, our representatives are standing by to setup your custom itinerary and book your chauffeur. Please be sure to mention your certificate at the time you make your reservation.

Q: Does your 3 hour minimum apply to gift certificates?

A: Yes, reservations require a minimum of three consecutive hours.

Q: Can gift certificates be used towards longer reservations?

A: Client itineraries often exceed the 3 or 8 hour durations specified on our gift certificates. Not to worry, they can be applied towards longer reservations. Just tell our customer service representatives more about your itinerary and we would be happy to apply your certificate towards the total charges. Reservations must adhere to the 3 consecutive hour minimum each time.

Q: What insurance is required to use WeDriveU?

A: Since the customer provides the car, the customer provides minimum automobile liability limits of $2500,000 bodily injury each person, $500,000 each accident, $50,000 property damage, collision and comprehensive coverage. Q: Why is it important to me that WeDriveU insures its chauffeurs with workers compensation?

Q: Are there a minimum number of chauffeur hours?

A: WeDriveU chauffeur reservation requires a minimum of three consecutive hours of service.

Q: Does the Avis customer have to use the WeDriveU chauffeur during their entire Avis rental period?

A: Avis customers rent their Avis vehicle for a day or multiple days and use a WeDriveU chauffeur during the entire rental period or as needed. If a WeDriveU chauffeur is used intermittently during the Avis rental period, a minimum of three consecutive hours applies for each WeDriveU chauffeur reservation.

Q: What is the experience level of WeDriveU chauffeurs?

Q: If I'm traveling to the U.S. or Canada from another country, where do I reserve my Avis vehicle?

Q: I’m a current WeDriveU customer. How do I begin using Avis Chauffeur Drive by WeDriveU?

Avis Preferred membership is required to have your WeDriveU chauffeur pick up your Avis rental vehicle. Click here to enroll in Avis Preferred. Q: I do not have a driver’s license. Can I reserve Avis Chauffeur Drive by WeDriveU?

A: Yes. Please mention this to the Avis representative when you reserve your Avis vehicle and make a note on the WeDriveU online chauffeur booking form. Your chauffeur will meet you at the Avis rental counter.

Q: How will my WeDriveU reservation be confirmed?

A: You will receive an email confirmation from WeDriveU immediately upon completing your chauffeur reservation.

Q: What automobile insurance is required to use WeDriveU?

A: Since the customer rents the Avis car, the customer provides minimum liability limits of $250,000 bodily injury each person / $500,000 each accident, $50,000 property damage, collision and comprehensive coverage. Customers can purchase Additional Liability Insurance (ALI) and Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) from Avis to meet the insurance requirements. International inbound customers must purchase ALI and LDW from Avis to use WeDriveU.

Q: How are customers billed?

A: The customer receives an e-receipt from Avis for their Avis vehicle rental charge and a separate e-receipt from WeDriveU for their chauffeur service charge. Customers pay WeDriveU by credit card.

Q: What if I must cancel my WeDriveU reservation?

A: With 12-hours notice, there are no WeDriveU cancellation charges. With less than 12-hours notice, there is a 3-hour WeDriveU cancellation charge.

Q: I am not a member of Avis Preferred. Can WeDriveU pick up my rental vehicle?

A: Avis vehicle pick-up by WeDriveU chauffeurs on behalf of Avis customers is a benefit reserved exclusively for members of Avis Preferred. Non-members can meet their WeDriveU chauffeur at the Avis rental counter.

Q: What if the customer requires special security services?

A: For customers with special security needs, WeDriveU can also provide a chauffeur with law enforcement experience at an additional cost and customize their ground transportation itinerary as needed.
