Since founding WeDriveU in 1988, Dennis has led the company’s growth as the leader in transportation solutions. He serves as Chairman and CEO of WeDriveU and also leads the National Express | Shuttle division, operated independently by WeDriveU. Dennis’ vision for transforming transportation has been featured by Fox Business News and the New York Times. His entrepreneurial spirit inspired the company’s early growth as the leader in professional chauffeurs who drive the client’s car, and he continues to advance WeDriveU’s vision to address clients’ evolving mobility challenges with workplace and campus shuttle solutions. Dennis was a CPA at Arthur Andersen, Co. prior to founding WeDriveU. He graduated cum laude from St. John’s University with a B.A. in Accounting/Business Management.
Erick Van Wagenen
President & Chief Operating Officer
Erick leads Customer Success, People, Safety, Technology and Operations as President & COO of WeDriveU. He previously served as EVP and Chief Commercial Officer. Over 13 years with the company, he has developed and expanded WeDriveU's client base, grown revenues and scaled WeDriveU nationwide. Erick has a Bachelor’s degree in Productions and Operations Management from California State University-Hayward – School of Business and Economics and is a member of the Association for Commuter Transportation.
Tim oversees Sales, Marketing and Fleet, bringing more than 30 years of executive leadership experience in transportation solutions to this role leading WeDriveU’s go-to-market strategy. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer for WeDriveU, leading Operations, Fleet, HR and Safety. Prior to joining WeDriveU, Tim served as President and Chief Commercial Officer for ABC Companies, a bus and motorcoach solutions provider. He led financial management at Greyhound Lines and The SavingsBanc and was a senior auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, passed the CPA exam, and is a former Board Member for the United Motorcoach Association (UMA).
Pat brings extensive financial expertise to his role as Chief Financial Officer, overseeing WeDriveU’s financial and organizational strategies, procurement and contract review. Prior to joining WeDriveU as Controller in 2015, Pat served as Chief Financial Officer of Hi-Tech Electric, Inc. and as a Tax Manager at PwC. Pat is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Masters in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.

Shelly oversees WeDriveU's HR strategy, recruiting and talent management. With 20+ years of HR leadership experience, Shelly has initiated and deployed world-class leadership development and executive coaching programs, championed change management initiatives, shaped high-performance cultures, and driven organization design. Prior to her executive coaching and leadership consulting practice, she held senior HR roles at Alliance Data Retail Services, Frontstep and Cardinal Health. Shelly holds a Hogan Coaching Certification, an MBA in Organizational Leadership & Management from Franklin University, a BSBA in Human Resources Management from Ohio State University, and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.
