Erick Van Wagenen
President & CEO

Erick serves as President & CEO of National Express Shuttle (operated by WeDriveU) and Transit, part of National Express North America (https://www.nellc.com), a business unit of global mobility provider National Express Group. Erick and his team lead the strategy to deliver transportation solutions for connected communities, campuses and workplaces. Erick previously served as President & CEO of WeDriveU as well as its President and Chief Operating Officer. Over 15 years with the company, he has developed and expanded WeDriveU's client base, grown revenues and scaled WeDriveU nationwide. Erick serves on the Board of Directors for the North American Transit Association (NATA), is a member of the American Public Transit Association and the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT), and was named to ACT's 40 Under 40 in TDM. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Productions and Operations Management from Cal State East Bay – School of Business and Economics.

Bob Kenna
Chief Operations Officer

As Chief Operations Officer, Bob Kenna focuses on driving operational excellence across the Shuttle (WeDriveU) and Transit division of National Express North America. He oversees the Operations and Safety teams. Bob brings more than 27 years of experience in transportation and logistics, including seven years implementing the company’s largest bus operations.

Chief Commercial Officer

Tim oversees Sales, Marketing and Fleet, bringing more than 30 years of executive leadership experience in transportation solutions to this role leading WeDriveU’s go-to-market strategy. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer for WeDriveU, leading Operations, Fleet, HR and Safety. Prior to joining WeDriveU, Tim served as President and Chief Commercial Officer for ABC Companies, a bus and motorcoach solutions provider. He led financial management at Greyhound Lines and The SavingsBanc and was a senior auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, passed the CPA exam, and is a former Board Member for the United Motorcoach Association (UMA).

Pat McConn
Chief Financial Officer

Pat brings extensive financial expertise to his role as Chief Financial Officer, overseeing WeDriveU’s financial and organizational strategies, procurement and contract review. Prior to joining WeDriveU as Controller in 2015, Pat served as Chief Financial Officer of Hi-Tech Electric, Inc. and as a Tax Manager at PwC. Pat is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Masters in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.

Joanna Rustin
Vice President, Marketing

Joanna leads marketing strategy, including branding, thought leadership and demand generation for the Shuttle & Transit division. She has over 25 years of experience with high-growth brands. She helped launch WeDriveU’s strategic partnerships, a new corporate brand and online presence. Joanna previously consulted for B2B and B2C clients and held marketing communications, media and analyst relations roles inside private and public companies including Zaplet, Hyperion and Arbor Software. Joanna is Chair of the Shuttle Council for the Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT), member of APTA, WTS, and IPMI. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Management) from San Diego State University.

Dennis Carlson
Founder and Chairman Emeritus

Since founding WeDriveU in 1988, Dennis led WeDriveU's growth as the leader in transportation solutions. He is Chairman Emeritus of National Express Shuttle (WeDriveU) and Transit, a business unit of global mobility provider Mobico Group. Dennis’ vision for transforming transportation has been featured by Fox Business News and the New York Times. His entrepreneurial spirit inspired the company’s early growth as the leader in professional chauffeurs who drive the client’s car, and he advanced WeDriveU’s vision to address clients’ evolving mobility challenges with workplace and campus shuttle solutions. These accomplishments earned Dennis the 2020 Entrepreneur of the Year award from The Donald McNeely Center for Entrepreneurship at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. Dennis was a CPA at Arthur Andersen, Co. prior to founding WeDriveU. He graduated cum laude from St. John’s University with a B.A. in Accounting/Business Management.
