WeDriveU Thanks Bus Drivers Serving Other Essential Workers

Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, drivers from WeDriveU have been on the front lines shuttling other essential workers to their jobs. From hospital employees in Chicago to biotech and manufacturing companies in California, our team is providing a safe, reliable, and comfortable commute when clients’ passengers need it most.

We salute their courage and dedication as our employer transportation systems operate during the pandemic. We’re proud that our exceptional service is attracting praise from clients, with messages such as: “Thank you for all of your support in helping us get our essential staff to work.”

We salute their courage and dedication as our employer transportation systems operate during the pandemic.

Here are a few examples of how WeDriveU drivers are shining in these challenging times.

Chicago, Illinois

Thanks to the efforts of drivers Millicent Brock, Paul Dixon, Gerald Conners, Trevor Bolton, and driver/dispatcher Eric Brown, WeDriveU’s shuttles have been serving hospital workers at Chicago-area healthcare facilities: Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Lurie Children’s Hospital, and Shirley Ryan Ability Center.

Los Angeles, California

We also thank Charise Parker Nicholson, Antoine Bowden, and Keia Vercher for driving employee shuttles for one of our Southern California clients to ensure cancer therapy research continues.

San Diego, California

Drivers Michael Bertrand, Jeremiah Englehardt, Juliann Hall, and Rebecca Verdugo have been serving passengers on the app-based on-demand Carlsbad Connector shuttle service between the City of Carlsbad’s Poinsettia COASTER train station and local businesses.

SF Bay Area/Silicon Valley

Drivers have also been guiding WeDriveU shuttles in the SF Bay Area for manufacturing and other clients. For example, Gary Stennis, Stephanie Broers, Samuel Aguilar, Khamal Mohamed (pictured below, left), and Saleh Ibrahim drive the Mountain View Community Shuttle (MVCS), providing access to healthcare facilities and other local services and businesses in a 100% EV fleet.

Another shout-out goes to Bay Area bus driver, Keith Clark (pictured below, right), for assisting WeDriveU on a return-to-work video project.

We’re grateful to all of WeDriveU’s heroes (including the camera-shy ones) for helping to make commuting easier. We look forward to continuing to share their stories.

Thank you for inspiring us!
